Membership Renewal Time Traditionally, the Club hosts an Open Night in Peter’s shop, which, among other functions, allows some club members to register and pay for their Cycling Ireland membership via the club. Unfortunately, because of the Covid restrictions, it will not be possible to have an Open Night this year. In these circumstances, we would ask all club members to go directly to the Cycling Ireland website and register/pay there. Based on personal experiences, it’s quite straightforward. Can you please ensure that the requested information is supplied fully, as we’ll need this information for our own club records. http://membership.cyclingireland.ie/ […]
North Tipperary Wheelers will hold their AGM on Tuesday 27th October 2020 at 8pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions this meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. This is your chance to have your say on club matters and we would like to see as many club members as possible join the meeting on the night so please make the effort to be there. Members will be sent the meeting details closer to the event via email. NTW Committee.
This weeks notes are short and sweet. We had small numbers on both Tuesday and Thursday evening for the spins. The evenings are getting shorter so we have decided that we’ve to move the spins forward to 6.15pm and everyone is obliged to have lights and/or hi-vis! On Sunday we had a great group of 12 who headed for the hills before the group split with 4 heading home early and the others extending the spin to make the most of the sunny weather! We also had some exciting news in racing this weekend with Eoin Woods winning silver at […]
Apologies for lack of notes last week holidays are over and the real world is taking its toll on me!! Last Sunday we had our third and final championship race. It was a super race and a strong performance put in by all! With a mechanical, a dropped bottle and a fair few dodgy excuses the race was an eventful one! It was great to see Daniel and Patrick Yon Hin come out but despite Daniels great win he isn’t a club member so the race win on the day was therefore given to Edvins, second place was Eva and […]
Tuesday evening saw a good group head out from Moynans Bike shop despite the misty weather! We also had 3 members participate in the Limerick League this week with Brandon Boyhan coming 4th and Eva Moynan coming 6th in the A4/3 race and Edvins Silovs taking part in the A2/1 race finishing in the bunch! Despite the storm this week cancelling our plans to have our championship hill climb on Thursday we succeeded in rescheduling it for Sunday Morning. 12 riders took part in the gruelling race from Castlelough to Portroe with a 30 second gap between the riders. Undeniably […]
