It’s great to finally be back! First, on behalf of the committee I want to thank all members for being so patient with regards to Covid 19 restrictions and for adhering to the government guidelines. It is important that we continue to follow the advice in order to keep the virus under control, while still getting out on our bikes and enjoying the sport. Hi all, as we have now passed the 29th of June, the club can officially resume cycling activities. We will resume our usual  Tuesday and Thursday  evening club spins and our Sunday morning club spin, all of which start from outside Moynan’s bike shop located in the Kenyon Street car park. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, The NTW Committee have regretfully taken the decision to postpone this years Tour de Lough Derg indefinitely. The event was due to take place on May 10th, with the current restrictions in place until May 3rd, it is unlikely that Group Cycling will have resumed. At the time of the decision, the club are not in a position to propose a new date. When we can, we will look at all options to rearrange for later in the year.   Regards, NTW Committee

Due to the escalating situation in Ireland and the announcement from Cycling Ireland in relation to cancelling all events until 29th March, the NTW Open Race will not take place on Sunday 22nd March. The race is postponed until the situation becomes clearer , then we will work with Cycling Ireland to host the race at another time.
