A quick reminder about our annual “All together spin” that’s happening on Sunday next 30th Aug. Cyclists of all abilities are asked to join the club on a spin out the old N7 and on to the Lakeside Hotel in Ballina for tea/coffee and scones (complimentary of course). You’ll get to experience group cycling and have a chance to chat with club members who will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about group cycling, the club, etc. Bring along any friends or family that may be interested in getting into cycling. All you’ve to do is turn up with your bike, a helmet and a smile outside Moynan’s Bike Shop in Cecil Walk Car Park on Sunday next to be ready to go at 9am sharp. See you all there 🙂

Boat Trip – Sun 6th Sept

Also we are organising a special Sunday spin which includes a boat trip for Sunday week, 6th September. We will cycle from Nenagh to Whitegate via Portumna. We’ll then get on the boat (The QE2) in Williamstown Harbour from where we’ll do a small trip to different points of interest on the lake taking roughly an hour and there’ll be finger food provided. The cost per person is only €20 and we’ll need to know names of who’s going and get a deposit by next Sunday. (You can give to Jan at the “All together spin” if you like)
