Folks, A reminder that our club AGM is being held next Monday the 21st of October in the Thatched Cottage, Ballycommon at 8pm. This is your chance to have your say on club matters and we would like to see as many club members there as possible on the night so please make the effort to be there.
Club racing The second road race of the year and of the Spring Series took place last Thursday night (18 th April) with the 30km race route starting at the usual spot in Upper Clashnevin and heading towards Toomevara and Moneygall, rounding the Obama Plaza Roundabout and returning back in the direction of Nenagh before finishing just after the entrance to the Lisboney Graveyard. A very good afternoon to you all. The weeks are flying by so fast and in just another week we will see the evenings get that bit darker earlier with the clocks changing back. We have been so lucky of late to enjoy some unusual fine weather for this time of year and it has been great, its giving us a chance to enjoy some fair weather cycling. Long may it last. What a week, yet again… John Foote, our National Masters Champion is crowned. The National Masters TT Championships took place on Saturday in Shannon, Co. Clare so not too far a journey for our three members John Foote, Eoin Woods and Michael Crowe to travel. The course has been trialled and tested over and over for the last few weeks coming up to the event by the lads, mentally mapping the course in their heads. Autumn is finally here and the club racing has ended for another year. Thanks to everyone who has supported and helped out in any way with the races throughout the season.
