Hi all, we hope ye have all had a good week, with a mixed week of weather we hope ye have all been able to get out on the bike.

Tuesday

On Tuesday we had our normal evening spin, We had seven members turn up at the earlier time of 6. With lights fitted. It was blustery out so we decided to keep to the back roads for shelter. We heading out to Cloughjordan and towards Moneygall. The plan was to head up army hill where we heard the best Tuesday night excuse of the year. One member claiming his left gear lever was jammed in the big ring. Adamant he wasn’t telling porkies we decided to head towards Toomevara, balliamona cross and on to Dolla. The group decision was to turn for home. 50kms were covered on the evening.

Saturday

On last Saturday we had two club members Eoin Woods and John Foote head up to Derry to take part in the national masters time trials, it was not the best weekend weather wise but our two lads did themselves and the club proud, Eoin took part in the M40 category and did a very good time finishing in 4th place just 8 seconds away from taking third place. John took part in the M50 category and did a very good time and finished in the top 10, A very well done to both of the lads.

This week’s Club Training spins are as follows:

Tuesday: Club training spin leaving from Moynans at 6.00pm.

Thursday:  Club training spin leaving from Moynans at 6.00pm.

Sunday: On Sunday we are going to support our neighbour’s in Limerick CC on there cycle tour and challenge as our Sunday club spin, all the information is on the poster below. For anyone that wants to stay local they can meet at Moynan’s as normal and decide on a route on the morning.
