We had the last race of the season in the JJ Moynan TT series on Thursday last on our usual 16km course.
The weather was kind with a nice evening but there was a nice breeze helping on the outward leg and hindering after the turn at the Five Alley roundabout.
This didn’t stop some blistering times being set by the 9 members who were out to contest the race. It turned out that the fastest person on flat times was so fast that he also won it on handicap! A huge well done to Pat Bergin on breaking the 22 min barrier and collecting a fine win.
The league table has been updated in the usual place and please remember that the JJ Moynan trophy will be awarded to the person with the most points from their 3 best results in the series.
Many thanks to Jan for the timekeeping, Vic for the great photos and the injured Eoin for coming out and marshalling at the roundabout. It’s much appreciated!
