Cheque Presentation to ‘Nenagh Friends of Ukraine’

NTW Committee Members recently presented a €500 cheque to Annette Meade of the ‘Nenagh Friends of Ukraine’ in relation to our Tour de Lough Derg funding pledge. Some of the individual contributions to the Charity Bucket on the day were notably generous.

This picture made the ‘Nenagh Guardian’ of 3rd September edition. We swapped fortune for fame!

National TT and Letter of Congratulation from Tipperary County Council

We recently received a letter from Tipperary County Council (or more specifically the Nenagh Municipal District) congratulating the Club on its successful hosting of the National TT in July. It should be recorded that the Council played a significant role in the event’s hosting.

We also received a Commissionaires Report, which I’ll include in the Post when I get a copy of same (having deleted the original image!)

John Caulfield received a Garda Medal to commemorate 100th year of the Garda Siochana

Eoin, Andy, Eoin and Peter went on a cycling holiday to Mallorca in late September. ‘Holiday’ may not quite capture the essence of the trip, with the first day out being described by Andy as ‘One of the toughest days ever, oh man, it was brutal’. No nightclubs then. If Andy says it was brutal, you can be sure it was. He was cheered on by loads of abuse on the WhatsApp group!

O’Briensbridge

Sunday morning, O’Briensbridge coffee stop. This Sunday saw the return of Gerry, after quite an absence. The damage had been done in the meantime, however, with a return to long coffee stops, and the re-introduction of the ’round’ system!
